Our carving axe is a versatile axe that you easily can carve, chop and cut wood with. A fitting leather sheath is also available. They work fine both when sculpting and engraving. Adze 0,6 kg , 0,7 kg or 1,3 kg does the hard work on the inside of your project. We will take a short break over Easter and close the workshop from this Thursday until Monday next week. Maintenance

The weight indicates axe head and handle. The handle is made out of ash wood. All the sharp edges are dipped into a certain protective plastic so that they stay sharp all the way to you. Our tools are delivered ready to use, sharpened and honed. The set also comes with a Japanese slipstone grit along with the Knife roll. Personally, I use a polishing disc made of wool, combined with polishing wax. Very easy to sharpen or hone but regular honing will vastly reduce the need to sharpen.
